Kawaii Gifts was established at Nov 2002. Our physical store is at the Shadyside shopping district at Pittsburgh, PA. We specialized in Japanese
kawaii (cute) gifts and fancy goods. Our floor is overflowing with everything pink and fuzzy, or both. Kawaii Gifts stocks Japanese imports, collectible vinyl toys, miniatures, etc. Our Japanese imports include popular brands like San-X, Kamio, Q-Lia, Crux, Mind Wave, and Iwako. We area also an authorized retailer for vinyl toys from Kid Robot, Strange Co., and Rotofugi. Other brands we stock at Kawaii Gifts include Re-Ment miniatures, Momiji dolls, Ugly Dolls, Giant Microbes, and Sanrio.
In July of 2005, we expanded into the store front next door, and it is now home to Kawaii Avenue, our boutique operation. Kawaii Avenue now features apparel and accessories from Toki Doki, Ames Bros, Threadless, Gama-go, Loyal Army, David & Goliath, Mighty Fine, etc. Our lines are artsy, affordable, comfortable, high quality and fun to wear! Some lines also feature Eco-Friendly and Sweatshop-free apparel.
