This project started in January 2021. Because of our large catalog and our finite people power. It's been a long term project. It is also a project long overdue. After the initial chaos caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. We started to think about "pandemic projects". And what project could be better than to upgrade our brick-n-mortar store's Point of Sale system and our Online Store into one unified system? And this is why our Online Store is changing from ShopKawaii.com to ShopKawaiiGifts.com on July 19, 2021. Our new Online Store includes a large selection of K-Pop albums that we have been selling in our brick-n-mortar store for a while now. But we had failed to include in our old ShopKawaii.com online store. Same with many anime and video game gifts. We are excited to have these new categories available on our new ShopKawaiiGifts.com online store. So this is the pro of having one unified system. From now on all our newest items will appear on our Online Store at the same time as our brick-n-mortar store. But there is also a downside. The con is that some of our previous items need to be re-cataloged and will be temporarily unavailable. However, we are going to continue working to add these items back into our new Online Store.
